Jeffries in the fetal position. He was interviewed on local NYC news when Mamdani's election was announced. He said NYC doesn't matter, it is always blue my concerns are elsewhere. More than three strikes at this point- He's out!
I don’t even know what to say anymore. A question about DSA belonging in the party gets answered with Republican talking points. How are they still so bad at this?!
Yes, big pro-democracy changes have to be openly talked about, normalized but how is that ever going to happen with Dem leadership like this? Who can’t even be bothered to turn those kinds of questions into attacks on the GOP or admin?
I recall you wrote a piece about Jefferies being the Majority Leader if and when the Dems regained control of the House. I think the premise was that he hadn't really done anything to be rejected. I hope that isn't the case when push comes to shove. Screw this guy, he belongs on the back bench.
After being a registered Democrat for 56 years, I changed my registration to “unaffiliated” when Jeffries stated that impeachment is off the table.

I don't know if you read Krugman. Today's Substack hits home for me. He has a video and transcript. https://substack.com/@paulkrugman/note/p-211441723?utm_source=notes-share-action&r=fa5ey Sharing as I think its important. Best regards. I don't see anything normal with this regime. Excellent article. Thank you Brian.

Trump administration is an abomination full stop!
We're looking into it very strongly!

Yeah I mean I’d like a wholesale turnover in leadership, but usually leaders get ousted after their parties lose elections, not after they win…
