Hi Andrew, people running for public office KNOW voters expect truth telling. Our society DEMANDS truthful leaders. More than half the country voted for Trump. Did those people think he was lying and voted for him anyway? We dont know. Questioning everything is painful and eye opening. Thinking new ways of revealing a candidates history could be mandatory while running for public office. How could something like that become part of the laws of Our Land?
But we already see the mealy-mouthing at senate confirmations to important positions and these jerks still get confirmed! "Joe Biden was sworn in [and I will not say he won]"!! So you could say well that's a concession of a sort but actually it has the effect by implication of confirming and normalizing the Big Lie!
