Assessing all of my predictions for the year
At the end of 2022 I started a new annual tradition of making a bunch of predictions for the coming year that I don’t feel strongly about, so when most don’t come to pass, I can shrug them off, but when a few pan out I can claim great prescience.
It’s a special treat for someone who does a lot of looking ahead in trying to analyze politics faithfully, but tries not to make outright predictions in the course of things. In that spirit, I’ll serve up my 2024 pseudo-predictions on Monday, but first let’s see how terribly I did last year, shall we?
