Greetings from Asheville, NC!

It can be hard to tell, because Republicans only operate through aggression, but the Trump-Vance campaign seems to be flailing in ways that resemble Trump’s darkest days in 2016 and 2020. Obviously Trump won one of those races, so there’s not much solace to take in their panic, and even if the polls showed Kamala Harris with a more commanding lead, it’s worth being mindful of the fact that when Trump is cornered, he compensates by hurting people.
